About Shield of the Children & Why Texas
Shield of the Children is a proven anti–child-sex-trafficking organization with years of experience dismantling trafficking networks in Southeast Asia. Founded by former Leadership Expedition participant Leigh Scarborough, Shield has rescued countless children from exploitation and brought traffickers to justice.
Now, the fight has come home. Texas ranks #2 in the United States for sex trafficking. The same darkness we've fought overseas is thriving in our own neighborhoods. This is where we must take a stand.
